Pre and post-natal training allows you to exercise safely and effectively throughout your pregnancy and then again from early post natel, after your six week check-up and when you feel able and ready.
All our pre and post-natal sessions are tailored specifically to you and your unborn baby’s needs. We increase your level of fitness gradually and at a pace that works best for you. We also do pelvic floor exercises both in pre and post-natal exercise, as well as abdominal exercises to help bring your abdominal muscles back together.
So prepare to enjoy yourself, get fitter and have fun!
Want to keep exercising through your pregnancy but unsure which exercises are safe? Unsure how to adapt your workouts depending on the trimester of your pregnancy? Looking to get your body ready for labour?
Exercise is encouraged for all women throughout their whole pregnancy and is safe and healthy for both mother and unborn child. Women who exercise during pregnancy are more likely to continue exercising after the baby is born than those who are inactive during pregnancy
Physical activity can also help alleviate many of the uncomfortable side effects of pregnancy such as morning sickness and fatigue (bonus!).
Starting exercise when pregnant can be daunting but I will be there every step of the way to guide you and offer support. Throughout the sessions I ask for your feedback to see how you are feeling and tailor your programme to your symptoms and trimester. Beginning or maintaining an exercise programme during pregnancy has many health benefits for both the mother and the unborn baby, here are just a few:
Have you had a baby and are struggling to find the time to exercise? Want to regain your pre pregnancy figure?
Starting or returning to exercise after having a baby can be daunting, but I will be there every step of the way to guide and motivate you. Getting back into shape is a gradual process and rushing it could result in setbacks.
Exercise not only helps to manage the mother’s health physically and mentally, but it also acts as a positive role model for your children. Our sessions together will be tailored specifically to you and your needs, including any complications post birth. It is also safe to participate in exercise if breastfeeding.
A lot of people want to exercise but hate the thought of going to the gym. Also with the new baby it can be hard to find childcare or the time to travel to the gym.
My solution is let me bring the gym to you!
All our exercise sessions are done from the comfort of your own home, where we can achieve exactly the same things that we would do in a gym.
All the equipment is brought to you, all you need is a pair of trainers and enough room to lie down and not bang your head when jumping!
Please check with your GP or midwife before engaging with exercise both pre and post-natal. Post-natal clients should also wait until after their six week check-up. It is also important to start or resume exercise when you feel able and ready.
Both pre and post-natal sessions last for an hour. Our sessions are tailored specifically to you and your needs. All the equipment is brought to you in the comfort of your own home, you just need enough room to lie down and not bang your head when jumping! You also require a pair of trainers, some loose comfortable clothing and some water!
Price per session: £40.00
The first step after getting into contact with me is a free, no obligation consultation which is usually held on the phone. It is a friendly and informal chat about what your goals are and how I can help you achieve them.
It is also a good opportunity for you to ask me any questions and get to know me better to see if I am a good fit for you.
Then if you would like to proceed, we can set a start date!
